The Sidebar
The sidebar shows the sites and assets in your portfolio and provides quick links to common tasks you might want to perform. If you don't see the sidebar, click the small black arrow on the left side of your screen to open it.
![]() | Use the Search field to quickly find the assets you want to work with. Click the site name to expand the site and view its assets. NoteOrganize your asset structure By default, assets in the sidebar are grouped by country when there are more than 10 sites (total) in more than 2 countries. It is possible to customize your asset grouping to match your workflow. Group by fund, region, business unit. or even area within a site. The groups are based on metadata that you define on your assets. Contact your CSM for more information. Click the three dot menu for a site, asset, group, or energy producer to perform an action. Status Sort | Statuses are prioritized in a specific order. Greenbyte only shows what we call the main status, so be aware that an asset can have many statuses active at once. The status priority order is as follows: Stop Curtailment Communication Warning Information (not shown) |
Control Center Sort | Control Center Sort allows you to sort your assets in the sidebar by statuses instead of geography. This puts the assets that need your attention at the top of the tree. Control Center Sort can be enabled at a system wide level through Administrate>Configuration. With Control Center Sort enabled, the status sort priority changes to the following order: Unacknowledged stops Unacknowledged communications Acknowledged stops Unacknowledged warnings Acknowledged warnings Unacknowledged curtailment Acknowledged curtailment Unacknowledged informational Acknowledged informational |
Control Center Site Sort | The site sort order is changed when Control Center Sort is enabled. With Control Center Sort enabled, the site sort priority changes to the following order: Overdue device accesses Overdue site accesses Unacknowledged stops Unacknowledged communication loss Active device accesses Active site accesses Acknowledged stops Acknowledged communication loss Unacknowledged warnings Acknowledged warnings Alphabetical |

![]() | Number of assets with acknowledged stops. Users can acknowledge stops manually by toggling the Acknowledged status in the Active Status Events widget. A stop is also acknowledged when it is linked to a task. This icon will appear when you have acknowledged any stopped asset on a site. |
