Power Curve

Follow these steps to manage the power curves available for your wind turbines in Analyze > Wind turbines.

Power curves are used for the potential power calculation and for performance KPIs. The default power curve is defined when the wind turbine is installed in Greenbyte, but you can alter the default or add power curves as needed. Having multiple power curves enables calculations in the system to adapt to different circumstances, like curtailment, sector management, or technical management.

  1. Go to Analyze > Wind turbines.

  2. Click on the name of the wind turbine you want to view.

  3. Click Turbine settings in the top right corner. An Update wind turbine dialog will appear.

  4. Click the Power C. tab at the top of the dialog. The Wind turbine tab is displayed by default.

  5. The Power Curve tab is divided into 3 sections.

Default Power Curves: the top section shows your default power curves.

Conditional Power Curves: the middle section shows your conditional power curves.

Copy to Turbine: the bottom section allows you to copy the power curve settings to another wind turbine.

  6. Click Save.

Clicking Save after adding or changing a power curve triggers a lot of calculations in the system. Make sure your changes are correct before clicking Save.
