Performance Ratio (IEC Module Temp. Corrected)

Description

Temperature-corrected performance ratio according to IEC-61724-1.

This calculation requires Irradiance, Energy, Module temperature, Power Temperature Coefficient, and Capacity in order to be calculated.

This signal is resolution-dependent.

Note

If the irradiance cut-in metadata is missing, a default of 20 will be used.

If the power temperature coefficient metadata is missing, a default of -0.3% will be used.

If the cell reference temperature metadata is missing, a default of 25 C° will be used.

where

E is Energy

P is Power AC

T is the device resolution in hours. (See “Device resolution” in the vocabulary)

I is the cascading irradiance for each time step

Icut-in is the Performance Irradiance Cut-In metadata field (default 20)

ISTC is irradiance used under Standard Test Conditions (1000 W/m2)

Pc is the capacity for the inverter

K is the power temperature coefficient (default -0.3%)

Tmodule is the average of available module temperature signals

T0 is the cell reference temperature (default 25)
