Lost Production to Curtailment

Lost production to curtailment quantifies the production losses caused by curtailment statuses. Curtailment statuses are different and can be created and configured in the Greenbyte platform.

Every type of lost production to curtailment uses a unique status code to identify the periods in which lost production should be calculated. For example, The signal Lost Production to Curtailment (Technical) (1473) will only calculate lost production during the time that the curtailment status with code “Technical curtailment” (108) is active. If lost production to curtailment total is used, the platform will consider all the lost production to curtailment of all the curtailment statuses and will consider the curtailment priority (defined in the curtailment scheme) to avoid overlapping when two curtailment statuses occur at the same time.

Lost production to curtailment is available in the Data Studio in the Sum over time variable type.

Lost production to curtailment is dependent on the curtailment statuses defined in the platform in the Administrate > Alerts section. When you create an alert, you can generate a curtailment status and that will be considered in the lost production to curtailment calculations.
