Equivalent Full Load Hours (Turbine)

This signal indicates the time in hours that a turbine requires to produce a defined amount of energy operating at full power (full capacity). A wind turbine produced has variable energy output. This value helps to understand how long would it take to produce that energy if the turbine was operating at full power.

Technology

Wind

Remarks

Since the device resolution is constant for a device, this signal is almost proportional to Capacity Factor. Apart from timesteps with negative Energy export, we do not clamp it to the positive part in this calculation.
