Energy Meter-Based Availability

This signal determines when all inverters/turbines mapped to the meter can be considered “offline”: that is when there is no production at all. If all devices are mapped to this meter, it gives information about the status of the entire site. This is useful for the Production-Based Availability (Inverter Normalized) KPI which defines “downtime” as when the entire site is down, rather than individual inverters.

Remarks

This signal is available for all Energy meters (Grid meters or Production meters).

It is used in Lost Production to Performance (Inverter Normalized) and Lost Production to Downtime (Inverter Normalized).

Usage Example

In this example, we have plotted in Data Studio for 1 day (sunrise to sunset). As you can see, the value is either 100% (online) or 0% (offline).
