Edit an existing user

Follow these steps to edit an existing user.

  1. Go to Administrate > Users.

  2. Click Edit on the row of the user you want to edit. An Update user dialog will appear.

  3. Edit the fields you want to change. Please note that you cannot edit the email address of an existing user. Contact Support to change the email address of an existing user.

  4. Click Save.

Follow these additional steps to edit a Limited user.

  1. Go to Administrate > Users.

  2. Click Permissions on the row of the user you want to edit. An Update user permissions dialog will appear.

  3. Select which assets you want the user to be able to access.

  4. Select a user group if you want to apply modules already enabled for a specific user group. Otherwise, you can manually give the user permission to access each module.

  5. Select which general module(s) you want the user to be able to access.

  6. Select which mobile apps you want the user to be able to access.

  7. Select whether you want the user to have access to Support.

  8. Select which contexts you want the user to be able to access.

  9. Click Save.

  10. Close the window by clicking the X in the top right corner, or by clicking Cancel.
