Add a report template

You can add any number of report templates, to make it easy for you to generate the reports you need. Follow these steps to add a report template.

  1. Go to Share > Reports.

  2. Go down to the Report Templates section. Click Add Template. An Add Report Template dialog will appear.

  3. Enter a title for the report.

  4. Select the devices that will be selected by default when reports are created using the template. You can override this selection when generating reports.

  5. The system generates default report sections. Click Add section to add more sections. The following section types are available:

  6. The selected sections are added at the bottom of the sections list and are marked as Added in the list.


    You need to refresh the list after adding a section to see it marked as added.

  7. Click Delete in the section row if you want to delete a section.

  8. Click Delete All at the top right corner of Sections if you want to delete all sections.

  9. Drag the sections up or down the list to reorder them.

  10. Click Options in the section row to change the section settings. You can change the following settings if they differ from the default settings: time interval, data aggregate, data resolution, split graphs, and chapter specific settings.

  11. Select a logo image from the list.

  12. Click Upload new logo from the list if you want to upload a new logo image. Click Browse and choose the image you want to upload.

  13. Select the report language.

  14. Select the viewing and editing permissions for the report.

  15. Click Edit & Preview to see the draft of the report.

  16. You can add or edit widgets in the report at this stage. There are various configurations available for each widget, which allows you to further customize your reports. Click to see the list of available report widgets.

  17. Edit the headers and text fields by clicking on the arrow on the left side of the section. Select Edit text/header and enter your changes. Click Save.

  18. Click Done to save the report template.

  19. Your report template is now available in the Report Template list to generate a report.
